In collaboration with the Madison Black Chamber of Commerce, this mentorship program offers a structured pathway to nurture the next wave of business leaders. You’ll be paired with enthusiastic, pre-validated professionals who are serious about their career advancement. Through regular engagements and a supportive network, you'll help them navigate challenges and seize opportunities, all while enhancing your own leadership and coaching skills.
Your journey as a mentor in the MBCC program is framed by these essential milestones:
Mentee Matching Period (Feb 14 - Mar 17): You'll receive detailed profiles of potential mentees to align your expertise with their career ambitions.
Kick-Off Events (Mar 18 and 19): A group event where you can meet and make your final mentee selection, as well as network with fellow mentors
Regular Meetings (Post-Mar 19): Conduct ongoing, individual mentorship sessions at the MBCC’s downtown Madison offices, offering a secure and professional environment.
Mentorship is more than a commitment; it's a transformative journey for both mentor and mentee. As a mentor, you gain the unique opportunity to mold the future of your industry, share your hard-earned wisdom, and witness the growth of your mentees firsthand. It's about creating lasting impacts, not just in the lives of individuals but also within the broader community.
